Miami House: A New Meeting Point for Miami's Business Community at SXSW 2027
Set for March 17–18 in Austin, the new Miami House will connect entrepreneurs, executives, investors, and creative leaders through a dedicated program of conversations, networking, and cultural experiences.

Miami's growing business and innovation community will have a new meeting point at South by Southwest (SXSW) in 2027. On March 17 and 18, the Miami House will make its debut in Austin, Texas, offering a dedicated space for entrepreneurs, executives, investors, and creative professionals from South Florida to connect with the festival's international audience.
The initiative builds on five years of experience with EXP+PROS, the SXSW immersion program developed by Experience Club and PROS. Through curated journeys to Austin, the program has connected business leaders and entrepreneurs with emerging trends, international networks, and new opportunities. The Miami House expands this approach by establishing a dedicated venue where South Florida's business community can engage with participants from around the world.
Located at Clive on Rainey Street, in downtown Austin, the Miami House is being developed as a temporary headquarters for Miami's business and creative communities during one of the world's most influential gatherings of technology, innovation, and culture. The initiative will feature a program of curated talks, networking sessions, brand activations, immersive experiences, concerts, and special events.
The project aims to introduce a broader international audience to Miami's evolving identity as a center for entrepreneurship, investment, culture, and innovation.
Why SXSW matters
Held annually in Austin, South by Southwest has become a reference point for conversations about the future of technology, business, and the creative industries. The 2027 edition will take place from March 15 to 21, with a program spanning innovation, film, television, music, comedy, and culture.
Throughout the week, Austin hosts conferences, exhibitions, product launches, performances, and independent gatherings that attract professionals from a wide range of industries. The event's influence extends beyond its official stages, as companies, investors, and entrepreneurs use the occasion to exchange ideas, explore emerging trends, and develop new relationships.
For Miami's business community, SXSW offers an opportunity to participate in these international conversations while presenting the city's own transformation. In recent years, Miami has expanded its presence in sectors such as technology, venture capital, financial services, and creative industries, strengthening its connections with both Latin America and the broader U.S. market.
The Miami House is designed to give that community a recognizable presence within the festival.
Inside the Miami House

The project will occupy Clive at Rainey Street, 609 Davis Street, an event venue located near the center of SXSW activity in downtown Austin. The planned setting includes areas for presentations, private conversations, business meetings, and social gatherings. The concept combines Miami-inspired visual elements with spaces designed to accommodate different formats throughout the two-day program.
Business and technology will be part of the agenda, alongside cultural and lifestyle experiences that reflect Miami's broader identity. Wellness, music, and creative industries are also among the themes envisioned for the House, allowing participants to engage with the city beyond its traditional business sectors.
The initiative is intended to serve both South Florida professionals attending SXSW and international guests interested in connecting with Miami's companies, entrepreneurs, investors, and community leaders.
With its own venue and programming, the Miami House adds a new dimension to Miami's presence at SXSW, creating opportunities for conversations that might otherwise remain scattered across the festival's extensive schedule.
Building on five years of experience
The Miami House also builds on the experience of EXP+PROS, the SXSW immersion program developed by Experience Club and PROS for executives, founders, and investors.
Over the past five years, the initiative has organized curated journeys to Austin, helping participants navigate the festival's extensive programming and identify the discussions most relevant to their businesses. According to the organizers, professionals from more than 300 companies have participated in the program over that period.
The mission combines content curation before, during, and after the event with a schedule of meetings and networking opportunities. Participants receive recommendations for conference sessions, daily coverage and analysis, and a post-event summary of the main insights.
Beyond the official SXSW program, EXP+PROS organizes gatherings, discussions, and social events that allow participants from different industries to exchange perspectives and develop professional relationships. For the 2027 edition, the Miami House extends this approach by creating a physical destination within Austin where those exchanges can reach a wider international community.
