How Sports and Innovation Are Shaping Miami’s Future

Game On, Miami 2026 brought together global leaders to discuss how the convergence of business, sports, and culture is transforming South Florida ahead of a historic year

In the heart of the Miami Design District, Experience Club US hosted an evening on October 16 that captured the city’s rising energy at the intersection of business, culture, and sports.

Game On, Miami 2026 brought together an influential lineup of leaders at The Moore: Xavier Asensi, President of Business Operations at Inter Miami CF; Michael Shaw, Advisor to Fort Lauderdale United and former executive at Amazon, ESPN, Miami Marlins, and Miami Dolphins; Tiago Pinto, founder of Brand Academy Miami and former executive at Nike, Gatorade, and Miami Marlins; and Arturo Núñez, founder of AIE Creative and former executive at Nike, the NBA, and Apple. Together, they led an insightful discussion on how sports have become a driving force for innovation, investment, and global relevance across South Florida.

The event highlighted the unique momentum that defines Miami today — a city where business and creativity are increasingly intertwined, and where global brands, startups, and investors are finding new opportunities for connection and growth. As 2026 approaches, with Miami set to host major international events such as the FIFA World Cup, the discussion reinforced the idea that sports are no longer just entertainment, but a platform for economic transformation, urban development, and cultural influence.

For Marcelo Goulart, partner at Experience Club US, the evening reflected the organization’s broader mission: “Our goal is to curate experiences that bring leaders together in meaningful conversations — not just about business, but about how culture, innovation, and purpose can shape the future of cities like Miami. The 2026 horizon gives us a powerful context to imagine what comes next.”

By fostering spaces like Game On, Miami 2026, Experience Club US continues to strengthen the connections that define the region’s business ecosystem — where leadership, creativity, and collaboration meet to design the next chapter of Miami’s evolution.
